Flashgram is a flashcard app built around spaced repetition. You create cards for the things you want to remember, organize them into decks, and Flashgram schedules when each card comes back so you review at the point where it does the most good.

Spaced repetition means reviewing information at increasing intervals rather than all at once. A new card might come back in ten minutes, then a day later, then three days, then a week. Each time you successfully recall it, the next gap grows. It is a long-established study method, and it is the core of how Flashgram schedules reviews.

Anyone with material they need to hold onto over months rather than days — students, language learners, people preparing for professional exams, and anyone who reads a lot and is tired of forgetting most of it.

Paper flashcards make you decide what to review and when, and most people end up going through the whole stack — including the cards they already know. Flashgram tracks each card separately and shows you the ones that are about to fade, so your time goes to the material that needs it.

Flashgram shows you the front of a card. You try to answer from memory, then reveal the back and say how it went: Again, Hard, Good, or Easy. That answer sets when the card comes back — Again brings it round within the session, Easy pushes it out furthest.

Yes, and it is the main way to use Flashgram. Writing the card is part of the learning: it forces you to decide what you actually want to remember and how you want to be asked about it.

Yes. Decks group cards around a subject or a goal — a course, a language, a certification — and tags let you cut across decks when a card belongs to more than one topic.

Reviews run on your device, so a session does not depend on a connection. That matters most in exactly the places people study — trains, basements, waiting rooms.

Sync keeps your decks and review history consistent across the devices you use, so the card you rated on one device is scheduled the same way on another. Check the Play Store listing for what is included in the current release.
